Brian
and Marcie Joseph have been breeding Labrador retrievers for almost a
decade. Brian is an avid outdoorsman and bird hunter who works with the
Silver Valley dogs natural hunting ability. Marcie and their young
children help socialize the Silver Valley puppies into great family
pets.
They started breeding labs after Marcie rescued their now stud dog Buddy
from someone that had neglected him and tied him up on a short rope in a
cement stall in a cow barn. He was 2 years old, untrained, not
housebroke and on his way to the animal shelter when Marcie found him on
this farm. To make a long story short, Buddy has come a long way and he
and Marcie are practically inseparable.
The females of Silver Valley Kennels are bred during their 2nd year and
ONLY with acceptable ratings from OFA and only once a year after that.
All the dogs are vet checked regularly, vaccinated yearly, on year round
heartworm medication and are fed a super premium dog food specific to
each dog's needs.
It is our goal to create beautiful, healthy puppies that will become
perfect family pets and hunting companions.
